Rules for taking carseats, pushchairs on Thomson flight

As first-timers travelling to Florida soon ... package booked with Thomsons ... travelling with 8, 4 and 3 year olds ... am trying to find out if we are allowed to take pushchairs in the hold free of charge and not part of the luggage allowance for the 3 and 4 year olds as sounds like we will need them in the Disney Parks to save them all the walking.... I always understood they were free for under 2s only but my local Thomson thinks there is no age limit but doesnt seem to be able to get a positive answer for us and we dont want to have them turned away at checkin? Also has anyone taken a carseat free of charge to use in their hire car (to save cost of hiring one there?) as my 3 year old granddaughter is small for her age and needs a bucket seat....any help and tips appreciated..enjoying looking through the tip threads too.

Since you're using the term pushchair, I'm assuming you're from the UK. (We call them strollers here.) If that's the case, you should probably post your question on the UK planning board.
