Rules for DVC mebers and parking?

I usually stay at the BCV's and parking is not an issue but I am making a trip in next week and staying at SS. Am I allowed to visit and park at the BWV or BCV parking lot only if I have a dining ressie or are we allowed to visit another DVC resort? Thanks so much.

They will usually allow you to park if you are visiting the resort, but not for theme park parking. You may be given a three hour pass.

Members get valet parking at BC,BW,WL, & AKL.

A couple of days ago they checked our reservation status and gave us a 3 hour pass. The Valet told us to check back if we were going to be late because they are towing cars. He said that the parking issue had gotten way out of hand and that people were abusing the perk.

We just returned from 12 days at WDW and visited all of the deluxe and DVC resorts to check out the Christmas decorations, etc. The only resort that issued us a 3 hour pass was AKL for some reason. I don't know why anyone would want to park there for a theme park visit, but I guess this guard thought so. We parked at BCV, SSR, OKW, and VWL multiple times. We had no problem parking at the Poly either. We didn't try CR or GF because they do usually give the 3 hour pass, and those were easy to visit from the MK.
