What is the rule on this? And I don't mean you have to be over 21 with photo ID. I mean, I thought a single person could buy two drinks at a single location for themself (I mean at a bar). Is this how it is? Or is it only one drink?

If I remember correctly, when I was at Epcot last year one person could not buy 2 drinks and one time. My husband had to come over and get me so he could purchase the second drink.

It used to be one person could only buy one drink at a time, but the last few times we were at Epcot, they were allowing one person to purchase 2 drinks at a time.

We had the same experience in February which was different than previous trips.

The last time I went in December you could still only buy one drink, but maybe it's hit or miss. I think the rule is one drink and maybe some CM's don't enforce it. I got two drinks in France, but had to call my hubby over in order for them to give me both.

The reason behind buying one drink at a time is so you don't give one of them to someone under 21

I want to say somewhere on my recent trip I saw a sign that said limit 2 drinks per ID, but for the life of me I can't remember where it was (maybe I had too many drinks, LOL).

:rotfl2: If so maybe the #1 blurred into a roman numeral II.

I remember the same thing. I think they have changed the rule.

When I have been at the Food & Fun Center or Gasparilla Grill & Games and guests who looked to be just at 21 years old or a bit older, they were limited to only 1 or 2 bottles of Beer or mini bottles of Wine.

One of the Disney CMs posted on another thread about this - previously it was one drink per person seen -- but FL law allows 2 per person so Disney has changed their policy to be in line with state policy. This has been a fairly recent change.

I'm glad to hear it! Last trip I went to get margaritas at the stand in Mexico while hubby visited the little boys room. I stood in line, got one margarita and then had to get right back in line to buy the second, all the while holding the first drink in my hand. They had no problem with me buying two drinks in less than two minutes, as long as I stood in line twice. It seemed like an extremely silly rule.
