Rudolph is on!!!!!

I love rudolph and I was excited to see that its on. Even though I have the DVD with all the good christmas movies (santa claus is coming to town and the little drummer boy and such). It'll just be me alone this christmas, and I'm not bothering decorating or anything, so seeing Rudolph on makes it feel like christmas.

It is suppose to be digitally enhanced.

Green umbrella, sleigh bells around rudolph's nose was pink that santa gave him when he was born-that was odd.

My DW is watching now, and decorating the Christmas Tree, (our tradition)

(I like Cornielous The prospector)

I love this except for all of the misfits, they always made me so sad and want to cry.

I know!!! I actually have to turn the channel at some of the sad parts :guilty:

NO!!! I'm at work now! Bummer. I thought the Charlie Brown Christmas special was on last night and it's not until next Tuesday. I was bummed. Yes, I have the DVD, but it's not the same as when you watch it broadcasted. I know, I'm strange.

I like the Abominable snowman in Rudolph. I always feel sorry for him.

And Frosty the Snowman? Can't watch it. I baul my eyes out everytime when he melts. How tragic!!!!!

My seventeen year old DS and his best friend came home from football practice, and sat down to watch Rudoph with me!!! :cool1:

I wouldn't trade tonight for anything!!!

My husband and I watch Rudolph and I almost named my daughter Clarice because of this movie! I love that name! We ended not naming her that, but I find it funny that we base our lives on television shows! Our wedding song was "You made me love you" after seeing Gonzo sing it on the Muppet show about 23 years ago!

Me and DS5 watched it last night. I love that movie. Okay, any Christmas movie. My favorite is A Christmas Story.

We watched last night. I forgot how scary the Abomidable Snowmonster really is. DD5 asked if he was real, she knows that most of what is on tv is not real - I told her "no." But then I got to thinking what if she starts to think that Santa and Rudolph aren't real either. So I spent the whole rest of the show trying to come up with an answer to a question that never came.

I watched with my 4-year old, and he asked questions about the snowmonster too, I told him he was real but that he turns nice!

I watch Rudolph every year, never miss it. Even when I was in college we would have little Rudolph-watching parties in the dorm.

From what I saw during the comercial it looks like they ruined it when they "remastered" it. The colors looked off and they chopped off the top and bottom. Widescreen is great, but 4x3 TV shows should not be cut down to make them widescreen.

Demand the original aspect ratio folks. I'm so glad I have the R&B classics on DVD. Looks like the next DVD version will have these chop jobs.

It wasn't in widescreen...we have a widescreen and the sides were chopped off. It was very clear in HD though.

That's odd. The sample footage they showed was in widescreen which makes sense since they claimed to have remastered it to HD (but will never really be HD due to the way it was filmed).
