DH & I have season tickets to a college basketball team where DH went to school locally. Every time we go to a game it just amazes us how rude some of the people are - and I don't mean students. At the game, they have 3 rows of 'floor' seats around the court, where we have seats. So many people think just because the seats may be empty, they can come sit there. And parents drag their kids down there for seats they didn't pay for. Our friends next to us have 4 seats but only 2 of them were there today. So these other guys in their 40s come down our row holding their tickets acting dumb and just sit in one of his seats. So then later, our friends put their jackets on their empty seat. This rude guy just moves the jackets and sits right down! And the worst part is, half of these people are not even there to watch the game. They're there to socialize and get free food. Thats part 2 of my vent...theres this 'tent' on an end of the court that has food and alcohol before the game, at half time, and after the game. Now, we pay good money for this, but alot of the others are tickets given by corporations or friends, whatever. But people come in here and eat like they've never seen food before! And. every game theres some people who just sit in there and drink the whole time, acting rude to everyone else. Now, I know part of this is the fault of the college for not controlling this better, but it still amazes me how people act sometimes. And like I said, its not the college kids...they actually are there to sit and watch and enjoy the game...its alumni or just 'guests' who think they're better than everyone else. Anyway, just wanted to vent. Thanks for listening.
