Just back from our first trip "home" to Old Key West. We had a very enjoyable time there and a wonderful trip overall, except for one occurance.

My wife and daughter arrived at Epcot one morning and headed out to get my daughters face painted but decided to walk around the Canada side.

My daughter and I are into pin trading and just like to view a cast members pins and then possible greet them if interested in a pin to trade.

As we were walking over the bridge with a DVC booth to our right, and Kim Possible to our left, we noticed a DVC sales woman talking to a guy with his daughter in a stroller.

We walked over there as we noticed she had pins, didn't say a word, and barely had a chance to even look when she abruptly said something along the lines of "i'm busy!" and took her lanyard off stomped away behind the desk to hide her pins and come back to talk to the guy she was with.

I did not interupt this woman, didn't even say a word, was merely looking before she did that. In fact, she could have easily just held them out, or took them off.

I had peace of mind to come back later and say "let's try this again" or walk away after telling the dvc prospect "is this the kind of service you can expect with your children?"

Just frustrating.

Remember...people are people. They are not always a reflection of what they say they are, whether it be DVC or otherwise.

I guess for her it was all about the sale. Shame.

Thankfully, she is the exception, not the rule when it comes to DVC agents I have come in contact with.
