We have no EE or EMH's of any kind. We're going for a 3 day trip and will be using our AP's for the first time. Nov 3, 4, 5.

My gut tells me Monday morning is going to be the least headache getting RSR fastpasses in the morning. Do you concur?

It will be a bit of a tease to wait till the last day but we have an almost 2 year old and I just want to wait in lines as little as possible.

Thanks for any advice. I know the RSR topic has been done to death, so I appreciate any help you can offer...

Sunday and Monday are early entry days for Hotel guests at DCA. Taking that into account, Saturday might be better. But maybe someone else has some insight that I don't.

Your best bet would be Saturday and be at security at least 30 min. before park opening. At least then you have the same chance as everyone else, the other 2 days the park will already be full of EMH people and the FP line will already be long.

What they said! :thumbsup2

Saturday! We went this past Saturday and was at park for 7:40 and stayed to the right and was able to ride RSR within 30 mins of park opening! Then got a FP for later at night!

I would say its going to be a rough weekend period. They are filming the ABC Christmas day parade that weekend. I don't know exactly what areas they will film in, but I know there is a production with Carsland characters so who knows if they plan on filming any segments there or not. Anywhere they film, from what I'm told, there is a chance of rides being temporarily closed and shows being canceled or delayed. The 3rd is the official day to film, but the 4th is a back-up day in case of weather or celebrity scheduling issues.

I would honestly just pick a day and hope for the best. If they do all the filming in DL then maybe Saturday at CA will be totally dead and that could be a great time to go. Then again, the latest the performers have to stay is Sunday afternoon ... so Monday could be a great time because there are probably several families that will be leaving after the required length of stay has been met. There is just no for sure answer. :(

Personally, I was going to aim for Monday. We will be at the resort hotel though so we'll have the early entry. Saturday we'll be watching filming probably most of the day and Sunday we're probably going to try to avoid the park if possible.
