RSR Fastpass

Hey everyone - our family wants to ride Radiator Springs Racers in the day and in the night. We are planning on riding very first thing in the morning on Monday the 30th. Then we want to get a fastpass to ride it at night. So anyone have a clue on a time I should go to get a fp to ride it later (when its dark)?

It really depends on how busy the park is that day and how fast FP's are going. When we were there in September, on a busy Saturday, we pulled a 730-830 FP at around noonish/1pm.

Download the DL app and you can follow RSR FP times there. When it gets close to the time you would like to ride....head over.

When we were there in September, I kept calling Ask Otto to find out the fastpass return times. I think I finally went over to pull fastpasses about 1:30 or 2:00 for a return time that was something like 7-8.

FYI, was just at DL last weekend, and had wonderful luck with the Single Rider Line for RSR! Never waited more than a couple of minutes - could have ridden it over and over if I'd wanted to! We were always the only people in the SRL - I think most people don't know about it, don't notice it, or ignore it! But it worked like a charm for us. If you're willing to split up your party, it's a great way to go. We rode Soarin', California Screaming, and RSR multiple times with no wait at all!

It was funny, 80% of the people at rope drop go straight to RSR or to get an RSR FP when the park opens (whereas I go to Toy Story!). I wanted to yell, "Hey, everyone, use the single rider line instead!" but I didn't want to share my secret!

SR luck depends on when you go. The first night of MHP, it was pretty empty in the morning, but was an hour long at 10pm that night.

This is fantastic info and thanks for it but sometimes families who are not locals want to experience a ride together. Me and my fiance are from the UK and do visit the worldwide parks a lot but we still like to sit on rides together as it is part of our overall holiday/vacation experience. Doesn't matter how many times in our life we have ridden Haunted Mansion for example!

Also you can ask the CM to wait off to the side of the FP machines for a time that works for you. We wanted to get a pass for after our 6pm dinner but the 6pm window was up when I got to the machines. I asked about waiting for a later pass, and they offered for me to stand to the side for 10 minutes for a 7pm to come up. The CM's were spot on about how long it would take and were very nice about the whole thing.
