If you buy a resale that is 10 years old, do you only have it for 35 years? Don't DVC units expire in 45 years or something?

Welcome.

All DVC interests in the five current resorts terminate in 2042. It does not matter if you buy direct from Disney or a resale.

Compare all of the prices.

The next DVC resort is at the Beach Club. It has not been announced if there is going to be a new expiration date for that resort.

I think most on this board speculate that Beach Club will expire in 2042.

The next resort after that is near Eagle Pines golf course. Due to the size, the consensus seems to be that will be the start of an expiration date beyond 2042.
