RS Transports or VEA Shuttle ?

I've just had a quote from RS Transports ( 3 adults and 1 child ) for a shared shuttle transfer @ 60 euros each way - 120 euros total.
or
VEA will cost me 128 euros in total.

I know it seems like a no-brainer and that's what is confusing me

Anyone else done the shared shuttle with RS Transports, just wondering are we likely to be kept waiting long for another group, or are there any pitfalls, I know many DISers have used them but have you booked the private or shared option ?

We've only used RS Transports once, it was shared, and there were only two of us travelling.

On the arrival trip we were the only two in the car, on the return trip we shared with Giuly09 (to our surprise), so I think it's hard for me to give a balanced view

i have only used a private service. i was quoted 140 for 2 adults and 1 child. i think it goes up to 170 if you add another person. i would book the shared service if i were you. i mean you are still picked up from the airport and you cant be sharing with that many people so it would definately be better than the bus.

Jill I've used the shared shuttle service from rstransports - we didn't share with anyone, although we only paid the shared shuttle price. So there was absolutely no hanging about for us.

I would definitely recommend the shuttle service - even if you are waiting maybe another 20 minutes or so for another party to join your shared shuttle, you will still get to DLRP quicker, and in more comfort, than if you get the VEA.

Looks like RStransports will be the better and cheaper option of the 2 then.
