: Being looking at shuttle transport from CDG to DLRP as im on my own with 2 children so thought it might be better ,anyway RS transports seem the best price 55euros each way it said for 1-4 people , is that for all of us or per person ?:confused3
Is it to early to reserve for august and do you pay a deposit or just pay the driver on the day ,sorry to ask so many questions but this the only part of the trip thats worring me (usually go on coach 5 times :scared1: ) Has anyone used the RS company as they seem a bit cheaper than the rest

RS transport come highly recommended on the boards :goodvibes We are normally around 90 euros each way but that is for 6 so 55 euros sounds about right - the prices are not per person

You pay the driver - you book on their site and they will send you a confirmation email

Hope this helps

thanks thats a great help will definatly go for them then ,it will take out a lot of worry esp on the way back as we have a early morning flight and I would hate to miss check in
Do you think its best to book now or later as we dont go till august

If you feel better getting it out of the way book now. We have booked far in advance and at short notice and never had any problems

I've booked with this company, and we aren't going until October :lmao:

I've been asked for no payment up front, total cost for shared shuttle (2 of us) is €90 return, and I've been advised that I need to pay €50 on the outward journey and €40 on the return. Cash would be best, as they charge commission on credit card payments.

thanks for your answers i will get it booked then its sorted cheers:cutie:

Thanks for that info. We have been wondering if we would be best to get a coach or train link to DLP but have now chosen to use this company as it seems a lot less hassle for very little difference in price. :thumbsup2

Thats what I thought as the bus would only take us the the park or nearby hotels and we are staying in bussy so would still have to of got the train to the hotel and as you said it was very little difference in price when are you going we might be sharing a shuttle lol;) and with my two little darlings it will be just more relaxed for me as well

All done and booked they sent me comfirmation within 20 mins very happy:woohoo: thats flights, hotel ,shuttle all booked from the comfort of my bedroom :cloud9: just got passes to buy

Do you know if it is possible to pre-pay for this service?

I know it was mentioned there is a fee for credit card use, but I really like having things all taken care of ahead of time and it would be great to pay for this a month or two before I arrive.

I've not heard of this travel company taking advance payments but you could ask them. Can't imagine a company who would say no to advance money :)

It actually worked out cheaper for us to take the shared shuttle, than it would have cost us to take the train!

And sooooooooooooooooooo much less hassle! Especially since it's a longer trip than previous ones, so we are likely to have more luggage, wouldn't like to have to lug it on and off the train/buses ourselves :rolleyes1

We used them last month and pre paid by credit card. There was a small fee (5%) but it still worked out cheaper than paying by cash as I got a much better exchange rate on my credit card than if I had taken cash.

Just a note - make sure you check the times on your confirmation. My original confirmation was picking us up at the hotel at 5pm when our flight was at 6! Easily sorted though.

I used rs/bs transport last November, as the train strikes were on at the time around France. As it was just me and my 2 little girls, I wanted to guarantee we'd get from the airport to the hotel with as little fuss as possible. This transport company were brilliant - on time, very clean cars, the driver helped us with our luggage etc.

I also paid the "shared shuttle" rate of 55euro per journey, but we didn't share with anyone - we had a lovely silver sedan all to ourselves:goodvibes .

Good tip! I just checked mine and they have scheduled a pick up for 5.30pm, our flight is at 8.20pm but I like to be there 2 hours before, do you think this allows enough time?

Our flights are with BA, does anyone know if it's possible to check in on-line and print boarding passes in advance? We will be staying at the DLH the night before. Obviously being able to do this would mean there would be less of a panic to get there for 6.20pm.

It took about 45mins to get back to the airport so you should be fine with this timing.

Thanks, still sounds a bit tight to me, I might ask them to bring the pick up time forward half an hour...

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to check in on-line at the DLH, 24 hours beforehand, and print boarding cards?

Thank you so much Elaine, looks like we would be okay! I might still ask them to pick us up half an hour earlier though, just in case, I watch too much of Airline :rotfl:

I used them on 1st Feb from Beauvais to Val de Europe at hotel L`Elysee. Are ok. First trip we was with a Volkswagen Caravelle with only 3 of us inside and the back time journey with Renault Logan Break. The driver wait for us in front of airport after luggage band and return at 7.45 sharp was there in front of hotel. From airport to hotel the time was 1 hour and a half. I paid with cash, 100 E first and 80 Euro on back time. All the confidence in them No problem.
