Stayed at RPR one night in January, 2009. This was our second stay. Not a busy time of year, so our room was ready around 9:00 a.m. Booked a standard view but were upgraded to a beautiful theme park view. Last visit we were on the bottom floor with a view of the thick bamboo plants. So, this was a nice perk.

The hotel is very pretty. The continental breakfast is nice in the lounge with good coffee and the cheese pastry was delicious, but the donuts seemed stale and hard.

Didn't eat at the other hotel restaurants this stay so cannot comment on that. Room was clean and very comfortable beds. I've stayed at all three Universal resorts and RPR is a good value compared to the others. Maybe not as plush as Portifino Bay but not as expensive either.

Only negative I have with the Universal resorts is that they will not deliver your luggage to your room if you are not in it. We checked in at 9:00 a.m. and our bags were not delivered until around 6:00 p.m. When I called baggage area they said they will not deliver unless you are in the room. IMO, this is for the extra tip. I tipped the bellman well when we arrived and he took our bags, not happy about tipping again when they are brought to the room.

All in all, a nice stay and would stay again:thumbsup2
