When we stayed in a standard king at RPR a couple of years ago there was also a sleeper sofa in the room. Does anyone know if they're still set up like that? Would we be safer reserving 2Q for 3 adults? Thanks all.

i would go with the 2 queen beds in a standard room

not all the sofas are sleepers.
you don't want to take that chance.

I just found that out booking my first stay there. I was originally getting a king that sleeps three and the girl booking it said they have the sofa sleeper (wife, son, and me). Then I added one more to the party (wifes brother) to make it four in a room and called for the 2 queens and asked about the king. They told me there are only a few with sofa sleepers and cannot promise us one. Needless to say we have 2 queens now.:thumbsup2

i think you will be happy with the 2 queens.
sometimes when you do get a sofa sleeper, the mattress is too soft and not as comfortable.

when i got the king bed at rph one year, it was on the 1st floor. that one did not have a sofa that was also a sleeper.

i had to be moved due to the animals.
allergies.

The sofa sleeper would have been for my 6 year old anyways, he falls asleep on anything.:lmao: I hope its as nice as eveyone says it is. This will be the first time staying on site since we never go when its busy or in the summer. We have been a APH holder since 1998 and have always stayed offsite in a cheap hotel and spend all the time in the parks. The APH discount is what made it appealing for us durring the busy hot summer.:cool2:

I agree about the comfort level of the sleeper sofa. We were there last month, had the king suite with the sleeper in the living room. The sleeper was soooooo uncomfortable that my daughter switched to another family member's room because she couldn't sleep on it.

Go with the 2 Queens. They tried giving us a king and a sleeper. But no way. This was our vacation, and none of us wanted to sleep on a pullout.

Just remember how tired you'll be at the end of the day. A nice bed is way more comfortable.
