RPR Questions-- 1st time traveling with laptop

Hi all,

I just found out my company is sending me to RPR in October. I'm used to the Disney hotels, so I was wondering if anyone knew the answers to any of the following:

1. I'll be checking in pretty early, so I imagine my room won't be ready. Do you think it would be safe to store my laptop with my luggage? Does RPR even offer luggage storage?

2. Is the room safe large enough to fit a laptop?

3. Will I need to be a connection for Internet access?

1. Yes...it's safe w/ your luggage...altho, I'd stow it before any of the staff "sees" it, just in case.

2. No, safes aren't big enough

3. Yes, I think it's $10 or something like that? (we didn't use it....too busy out havin' fun!) You can inquire at the desk, and I know I've read here that some could get access wirelessly in "public areas".

A few weeks ago, we stowed 2 laptops with bell services. I was a bit nervous and actally followed the cart with our luggage and watched them take it in the back to store it until our room was ready. Everything worked great.

My niece had to email a term paper she completed earlier in the vacation to a professor for a summer class. Before our trip, I had read someone got free internet in the lobby area of RPR. We did not have that type of luck and paid $10. Note the $10 runs from 3 PM to 3 PM only. So if you sign up for it at 2:30 PM, it will cost you $10 for 30 minutes.
