Just booked the Royal Pacific for 2 nights,Feb. 19 & 20, with taxes it came to about $575.00. :sad2: We're thinking of booking our first night off-site at a less exspensive hotel since we're only planning on doing Universal 2 days. I'd book RPR for the 17th if the rates would go down...Does that sometimes happen at the last minute? It would be more convenient to only have to check in once, but am having a hard time justifying the $300.00 per nite cost. :confused3 Can anyone recommend any nice off-site hotel for one night? Thanks for the help in advance.

if you decide to only stay one night at rph and one night off site, may i suggest that you stay the first night at rph so you will get 2 days of fotl.

stay first night on site, use the fotl all day.
check out the next morning and move to an off site motel.
you can use the fotl this day also.
