RPR or HRH: Which do you prefer?

I'm right there with you agonizing, stewing, bashing my head against the desk! :goodvibes We have reservations at PBH for December, and I keep rethinking it over and over. And over. And over. I would like to be a little closer to the parks and I would like to save some money (for six of us, we need two rooms), but the kids REALLY want to stay at a hotel whose pool has a waterslide, I can't seem to wrap my head around staying at a hotel with a "vibe" (I want outside of the theme park to mean quiet relaxation), and I'm having a hard time stepping away from gelato and Italian pastries. Oh, why is it so difficult to decide?! :goodvibes

Well, if you're anything like me, it's hard to decide because you're the one who does all the planning and research while the rest of your family says things like, "It doesn't matter to me," and "You go ahead and decide," which basically puts all the pressure on your shoulders and makes you feel responsible for everyone's happiness. ;)

I still can't decide. Yesterday, I was gung-ho for HRH, today I'm favoring RPR because it's so darn pretty and less expensive, but tomorrow, I'll be back to HRH. Honestly, I should just flip a darn quarter and be done with it!!

Just pick one, make your ressie and relax. I just don't think you can make a wrong choice. No matter which of the three you decide on, I'm sure you will have a great time. :)

Remember you can always pool hop over to HRH or PBH to enjoy the pool with a slide. We like RPR just becuase of how close it is to IOA and the walkway pops out at Margaritaville :cool1:

Decision is made, baby!!! We moved our ressie to HRH and now I'm super-excited.:banana::banana: The lady I spoke to, who's stayed at all three resorts several times, said HRH always makes her feel young. Sold!! :cool1:

Thanks, everyone, for all you advice and input!!

Save the money, and DO Hard Rock, definitely, has a beautiful slide and is close to everything. That itself makes it more relaxing. Every time we do HRH we have an easy time, it is closer to the parks, closer to City-Walk, have less stress, etc. It can be fun vibe and relaxing also so don't worry that it is going to be a madhouse, I don't find that at all, it is lovely there and relaxing also and fun at the same time.
