RPR - Fridge in Std room?

First time staying at RPR - are there fridges in the standard rooms?

There is a mini-bar which you can request the key for....not sure how much the stuff in there is tho...never use it. I think you can have it emptied for a fee ($10?), but we usually just pick up the stryrofoam cooler at the store and use that for "cold".... You can ask the hotel what the charge is....but, no, there aren't any empty fridges in the standard rooms....

me? ..or the OP? you can, but we have way too much....beer, juices, case of water, cream cheese....see?:

I like that little container, can you get them from Walmart or somewhere similar, wasn`t going to bother taking water etc just for one day but might come in handy. Thanks and work out cheaper, don`t the hotels mind you checking in with them?

The hotels don't mind if you bring food/drink/beer/cooler....heck, the bellhop who unloaded our luggage actually helped us fill the cooler w/ ice! Why would they mind? I've seen people with cars go out for a grocery run and come back with tons of bags of snacks and cases of water and soda.... I guess they expect people to stop at the store....besides, they know a lot of the car services give you a comp. grocery stop, so, guess they're not surprised!

(if you do stop for the cooler, it's like $5 ..... usually in the bottled water aisle or the beer aisle)

Will get one and bring water - did thinki we were going to have to buy it as needed. Got breakfast included so don`t need to worry about that.

Are they available in all supermarkets? never seen them in the UK

we usually stop at the nearby Publix grocery store....but, i would think any store would carry them (our local grocery store only stocks them in the summer....but they realize they are tourist areas, so i guess that's why they stock them on the store shelves)

We weren't planning on going to the grocery store until we check out of RPR on our way to BCV but I guess we'll need to anyways since we want to buy waters and drinks for our stay at RPR anyways and I wanted to get a Styro cooler to bring to Typhoon Lagoon anyways.
