Anyone heard of Roy's Restaurant on Sand Lake Rd?
And if so, your opinion........
Heard some good things about it.

I don't have an answer for you, but we're going to Orlando next week, and I have an Outback gift certificate, so I just might have to use it here. Their menu looks fabulous!! I hope you get some responses, because I'd love to know what people have to say. I adore that type of food, so I'm all about it... if it's good!

if its the same "Roy's" as in Hawaii, its now a chain, but I ate there while in Maui. Food was Ok, the watching the storm outside was better....haven't been to any branches on the mainland

Went about a month ago and it was fabulous. It's one of our top three restaurants on Sand Lake Road and I highly recommend it. Make sure you get a reservation though.

As for price... it's about the normal for a decent restaurant.

We've eaten there a couple of times and have enjoyed it. It's a very attractive restaurant with a nice crowd, good food and great service. As pointed out, the cuisine is Hawaiian so as long as that's OK, go with it.

It's one of our top three restaurants on Sand Lake Road and I highly recommend it.

May I ask the other two? We're staying a couple of miles from Sand Lake Rd this week. I usually stay farther west, so I don't know any of the restaurants in the area except Sweet Tomatoes.

We've been meaning to try this for a couple of years now. We have several friends who live in Orlando and they all rave about it, so a visit is long overdue. Maybe we'll make it during our upcoming trip.

I've never eaten there, so I can't give a review. But, based on the reviews at tripadvisor.com, Roy's Restaurant in Orlando gets high marks.
