Hi all,
We are taking our first Disney cruise on the Dream this fall, and because we booked a regular stateroom and are first timers, lots of activities were booked already by the time our window opened. My daughter (7) had really wanted to do the Royal Tea. I was wondering if anyone has managed to find an opening later or gotten a spot once on the ship? I'm sure we can always find something else to do, but it was a bit disappointing because we were trying to save a bit of money for activities by booking a cheaper room! Thanks!

I can't speak specifically to Royal Tea, but I think with some other high demand activities (like Remy brunch, Remy/Palo dinners, and golf simulators) that DCL leaves a few reservations open for embarkation day booking. So you have a few options. When you get to the port, after they start boarding, try and see if you can connect to the ship's wifi. That'll give you access to the "on-board" version of the app. Try and see if you can book the activities there. And if not, try reaching out to guest services.

Also, another word of advice, keep checking the app! People cancel all the time or move reservations around, even when you're less than 30 days out. I've snagged a lot of tastings and dinners this way.

Yes, keep checking prior to boarding. It was full on one of our cruises, and we were put on a wait list once on board. We were called within a couple of hours letting us know there was an opening.

The Royal Tea has very limited availability. There is always a chance of cancellations. Or you can check at Guest Services onboard, I think they maintain a waitlist.
