We have a reservataion at the Royal table on August 22 and am wondering about dressing as pricnesses. I have heard this is prevelent. I'd like to hear from both sides, those whose daughters did and did not dress up and what the experience was like. We are taking our daughter and a neice and our daughter would be able to dress but our neice is a 7 year old in a 14/16 and even if we wanted to don't know if we could. Anyone out there that will share would be great.

Thanks

When my DD was 4, we dined at CRT. She didn't dress up and still had a fabulous time. I think about 50% of the girls dress up and 50% don't.

We were at the CRT breakfast last december - my 2 dd's were dressed as cinderella - I would say the majority of young girls were dressed up, all different princesses. I was hoping to take our christmas picture there, but dd1 didn't want to cooperate w/cinderella. There was also the fairy godmother in the lobby of the restaurant and having pictures w/my dd's dressed as cinderella and the fairy godmother was very nice. It's not necessary, but does add to make it extra special.

My girls do usually dress up, but when we went last August it was just tooooo darn hot. :sunny: There was NO way they would put on those itchy scratchy dresses - not even to dine in Cinderella's castle. Just let your girls dress up a bit if they don't want to go all out in the princess atire. Maybe cute sundresses.... Dressing up is just as fun IMO. Not everyone dresses up in the Disney costumes. I always felt like we were the only ones and had started the trend.

Have fun!

Our 6 yr old DD wore her Cinderella dress at dinner. She was the only one there dressed up. In fact there werent many kids there at all. Our 2 and I think we saw 1 other table with kids at it, BUT it was pretty late. We wanted to see Wishes from inside the castle so we had a late PS.

I am going with my duaghter and her good friend, both 15.
We are all going to wear tiaras! Thought we'd go to one of those
accessories stores here in town. Can get something inexpensive.
Maybe this would work for you?

Thank you for all the comments. I really like the idea of the tiaras. :) I think we'll se if we can find some and let them do that as we will be there in August when it will be very hot. :umbrella: Any more, I'd love to keep reading.
