Royal Plaza ~ DT Disney

Hihi!

Anyone ever stay at the Royal Plaza? I'm staying there in October for 2 reasons... 1: times are tight, and if I'm getting to the F&WF it's on a budget & 2: Swan & Dolphin are booked as is Port Orleans. Not really a big fan of any other moderates, so I went to the DT Disney area.

Won't be spending much time there, but I suppose I'm just looking for thoughts on the transportation to and from Epcot?

We stayed there for our honeymoon 11 years ago. The place was nice and clean but I suppose things could have changed. I remember the shuttles were packed but we went in July. Hope this helped some.

I stayed with my daughter last October. It was a very nice hotel. Close to DTD, good buses, clean and friendly. However it was nothing special and after paying extra for a microwave..I ended spending as much as I might have for a Disney Moderate.

I was looking for at the Plaza for a one night spontaneous stay next week, but I just checked reviews today before reserving, and they were very mixed...enough to scare me away. Same thing with the Raddison Celebration.

Now I'm not sure what we'll do....

There's nothing to be afraid of at the Royal Plaza. Especially for one night!
Go for it and enjoy.
