Did anyone watch this last Summer? I didn't, but after watching countless hours of the SVU Marathon yesterday they showed about 50 commercials for it so now I'm intrigued. (I really need to get out more) Do I need to go back and watch the first season online or is it more of a stand-alone kind of show?

We really enjoy Royal Pains. I'm sure you could catch up without seeing last season but you would be lost the first couple episodes. The first season was really good and is on netflix now.

LOVED this show last summer! I am super excited they are bringing it back. I think seeing the first season would help as some of the back story is very complicated, but I don't think you NEED to see it. I bet they will do a marathon at some point to help catch people up.

If you have the time to watch it online, it is worth it, the shows are good

No I didn't, but they showed the pilot show recently and I watched it and am considering watching it since everything is on hiatus.;)

I also really liked the show. The whole plot basically takes place during the summer season at the Hamptons, NY. So, it is a "short" series, last season (literally) ended around Labor Day.

I'll be tuning in. I like the series on USA. Another great one is "In Plain Sight." Here is the thread for that one: In Plain Sight - Season 3. :goodvibes

I find these two shows on USA are funny, snarky, well written, character driven, don't insult audiences' intelligence. :happytv: We need more people to watch these shows, to keep them on the air as opposed to yet another mindless reality TV show or a gazillionth rerun of "Law & Order." :headache:

I liked it a lot. Fluff but fun. I missed it when it was done.

Thanks for reminding me. I did love this series. Has season two started yet?

Season two starts June 3! I enjoyed it last summer. I would watch some of the first episodes if I hadn't seen it before. My DVR recorded an episode on USA just this morning, so they're starting to show the "reruns" of last season.

If you have cable you might be able to get it if your service has "On Demand". I have Comcast and there are 3-4 episodes usually available.

Its got a good premise but just not my thing.

My DDs and I loved this show last summer! We are so excited for June 3rd! A very light show, but soooo funny!

This show will always have a place in my heart since I DVRd a marathon of it last summer and watched it all night while DD had her days/nights mixed up in her first few weeks of life.

That said, I'm not sure how much any of us can guess just how much you NEEDED to see from last season until this season gets rolling, but it's worth checking out for sure!

And my favorite USA series is Psych!! USA really rocks right now.

love the show...I watched most of it online last year...that way the commercials are much shorter and it takes less time to view it.

I agree.....fluff but fun!

There is not a lot of, if any, voilence in it....not a lot of sex.....not medically correct (I'm a nurse) but I enjoy it's humor!

It's a fun summer show. Plus they film some of it in my town so I like watching it to see my town on tv. Definitely worth checking out!

I love this show and really enjoyed the first season!! I am looking forward to it starting again!

We love USA Network here..our favorite show on TV right now is White Collar!!! I am super psyched to see the new season this summer!!! :)

I can't say for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if USA Network aired a marathon of last season's episodes some time between now and June 3.

I love this show and so does my DH. I think you will like it better if you see the first season before you start to watch the new one.
