Royal Pacific Water View Question

Have a 4 night stay booked for Royal Pacific in a couple of weeks. We have only stayed at Hard Rock before, so is it worth it to call ahead and reserve a specific tower for the water view rooms at RP? If so, do you just call the front desk prior to arrival and which tower is recommended?

We have been to Royal Pacific many times and (if available) we always stick with the regular room for theme park resorts (on-site hotels) rarely give upgrades. In fact, at the front desk, ask if you can get a room with a view of Islands of Adventure. It's free (because it's still a standard room) and you see a little bit of the water and you see Islands of Adventure which is a much better view. Hope this helps!
