royal pacific room request

just booked a standard view room at the royal pacific for may. Can I call back and attach a room request? if so what would you recommend that is close to the walking path to the theme parks? I realise I wont have a view of the parks from my room, thats ok, but would like a location that will save us some steps.

Also if I apply for a Loew's card, can I get an upgrade with it even if I am a new member?

Also, you can get an upgrade at check-in...IF one is available. At Blue level (new member) you can't get an upgrade at time of reservation
