Hi All,
I had read on here a while back that people had booked the AP rate at Royal Pacific for January for $139 but when I called I was told it was $177 (plus tax)? Is there a difference, or were people actually receiving the $139 rate?

Thanks!

Jennifer

I've not tried for an AP rate but that's the current Florida resident discount posted on their site based on availability ( weekends are higher priced). Did you ask for a Friday or Saturday date? If so, that might be the reason the prices are higher than you expected or perhaps this was not the lowest rate room-type either.---Kathy

Those rooms may be gone.

There are still $139 rates online for Feb. What are your dates?

Here's how you check online to see if the Annual Passholder Rate is available for your dates:

go to universalorlando.com
Click on BOOK HOTELS at the top of the screen
Find Loew’s Royal Pacific Resort and click on BOOK NOW
After you enter your dates, type APH in the discount code box.
When the next window pops up:
Underneath where it says SHOW ROOMS WITH ALL BED TYPES (and there is a pull-down menu for bed types):
If there is no discount, it says SEASONAL RATE.
If the annual passholder discount is available, instead of saying SEASONAL RATE, it will say ANNUAL PASSHOLDER SPECIAL.
It also will say, Rate description: special rates for annual passholders.

Has anyone ever had a AAA rate? We are going on Presidents weekend...I wonder if they will have AA rates?

Yes, they generally have AAA rates. You need to book it through AAA or through Loews by calling. It cannot be booked on the Loews site. Only non-universal hotels can be booked using AAA on their website.

@damo, You are all over these boards and always have good info. I wanted to say Thank you. Your input is VERY much appreciated.

Your welcome. When I was a newbie there were regulars here that helped me in the very same way and it was the beginning of many wonderful Orlando vacations!
