Royal Melbourne Show

Did anyone meet Mickey & Minnie at this years Royal Melbourne Show?

I wasn't going to bother going to the show this year until a few weeks before I found out Disney were adding a little extra magic to it this year.

What were your thoughts?

I thought about it, but decided that as we'll be at Disneyland in a couple of months it would be worth waiting. Besides, I thought the little kids might think I was strange...

I did spy Minnie through the tent though and she did look like the real Minnie!

I also saw the Frozen karaoke thing, which seemed quite lame.

I also wish they'd had an adult Disney showbage

Lol It didn't stop me and others. Don't think the little kids cared lol
We qued for Mickey and Minnie lol. They were the real deal it was great cause I'm pregnant and have a pic of both Minnie and Mickey hands on my bump... I used both the pics to get people to guess if we were having a boy or a girl on FB and then put my profile pic up as Minnie holding baby bump once we revealed we are having a girl. I'd post pic but I still can't add attachments is there a reason for this?

While we were back in line for Minnie (was only about 10 mins wait each time) there were 2 old ladies come in through the exit. One had a walking aid- zimmer frame. They were 70 at least each. One was in a Disneyland Hong Kong Tshirt and had Duffy poking out of her handbag. No one batted an eyelid when they had a heap of pics with Mickey Mouse.

I bumped into them later in the day and she had a new Disney Tshirt on. I advised my hubby to watch out that'll be me in line for character shots in my old age tehehe

I think that would be a great idea. But I did leave with a big Minnie & Mickey Mouse for babies nursery they weren't as great quality as Disney parks stuffed toys but cute and only $15 each plus no lugging them on a plane afterwards was needed
