Roy Disney divorcing....

Wonder if he likes younger women.

Wonder if my bf would mind.... hmm

Wow, what would make someone divorce at that age after that many years of marriage? Do you suppose he has had an affair? Is it his way of splitting his estate now,w hile he has some control over the assets? That just boggles my mind...

Its hard to imagine being that far along in life and having spent 51 yrs with someone to decide to divorce:confused3
He is 77... kind of sad.

I wonder if he is trying to keep her from having any control over his Disney shares or estate????

Hope he likes his woman young and blond (and married with kids, lol) Man, after over 50 years! I would think that after that long you just kind of deal with it! But then why spend the time you have left on earth unhappy. He sure could make mehappy! ($$$$) Who says money does not buy happiness? I think it is more of the Disney aspect of it! I would want to live in Cinderella's castle, lol! :rotfl2:

I just sent the following to my soon-to-be-divorced mother:

Mother, I read that Roy Disney Jr. (Walt's nephew) has just filed for divorce after 51 years of marriage. I need you to immediately throw yourself in his path, seduce him, and get me a lifetime pass to Disney World. Let's plan on a marriage next year at the Grand Floridian.

Wow, I'm not looking for a new honey (hey it's Dh's b-day today  ) but could he adopt me? My Girls would always love a new Grandpa, especailly to go and visit at Disney.

well, my parents got divorced after almost 48 years of marriage. Both of them were just very unhappy. no affair, just unhappy.

It was probably just another example of normal and happy relationships ruined by the onslaught of gay marriage.

:rolleyes1
