Shucks we just missed the 6/1 deadline, so signed up for the next group. I hope more folks join! I just found out about FEs from my sister-in-law, who said they're a lot of fun. Looking forward to seeing my kids get excited by the surprises! Even more Disney magic to enjoy on the trip.

Hello fellow cruisers! My family (me, dh, dd-12 and dd turning 10 on trip) will be joining you! It's our first cruise so we are super excited. I don't think we will be able to join the FE group. We are in DW for 10 days before the cruise for dd (12) softball tournament at Wide World of Sports. Have so much to do to get ready for that-looking forward to relaxing on the cruise after!

Both of my dds are fairly shy and informed me they don't want to go to the clubs. I would love for them to get to know some other girls on the cruise. Please let me know if there are any other girls around the same age on board.

Please everyone, we need several cabin #'s !!
When you get yours , add them on the spreadsheet or post them here and one of us will add them for you.

Welcome aboard. I sent you a PM if you are interested in letting your DD's email my DD12. I only referenced your DD12 in the message because in my excitement I didn't notice you had a DD10 also. I am sure that my DD12 would like to share her experiences from last summer. She already has one email pal (thanks Indymousefan) and would love to have more.

It's great that our meet is starting to liven up! I am hoping that a few more kids around my DD12's age make an appearance on this meet. There were quite a few kids who knew each other via email before our cruise last August and it made DD12's experience wonderful from our meet and greet on. That being said, has anything been decided on a meet and greet for this group?

To all of you in the FE exchange, your posts keep this meet alive. I am sorry that we will not be participating with you, but like Cooptroop and Gone2disney the cruise will hit us after a while at WDW. My hat's off to Cooptroop for pulling the FE exchange off during their long trip.

Gone2Disney, Let me add another "welcome aboard"!! I have a 12 year old DS who is very excited to meet others his age!! (And I promise he'll be a polite gentleman with your DD...or he'll have to deal with an unhappy mom!)

Fuhnuh, Scrapycruiser suggested we meet in the D-lounge before the safety drill. I don't think we confirmed, but that sounded like a great idea to me (around 3:30, I think she said).

Hope that you all are having a great day. It's a beauty here in Indiana. However, I'm really looking forward to some heat and son on Castaway Cay!!

Hello all- we are on this cruise!! I will have a 13 year old boy who will be hanging in Edge. Any other boys his age? This will be our first DCL trip and we are soooooo excited!

After posting I went back and read all the posts in the thread. I will put the meet up in our trip plan.

We are three family groups- mine: me(47) DH (43) DS (13) DS (10; 2nd family: DW (47) DH (47) DD (18) DD (14) DS (10); third family DW (32) DH (33) DS (6) DS (3). We have the Palo brunch booked. The husbands are going diving in Nassau; the rest of us are enjoying the ship. The wives are planning to do the CC 5K. No FE for us (this time) as first timers and so much to do to get ready!! THe younger kids are totally excited about the clubs, my DS (13) will be hanging in Edge. The two older girls will be hanging together since the older sis is too old for Vibe.

I love reading the DIS boards constantly to get ideas and info. I am the OCD planner of our entire group and the others think I am a bit wacky but I LOVE IT!!

I have two girls, one 10 1/2, and one who will have just turned 9. They make friends easily, and are super excited for their first cruise. Tell your girls it's looking up!

This is my husband and my 1st cruise ever! And celebrating 20 yrs! We are leaving the kids at home for some R&R. But definitely checking it out to see if our 2 autistic children could do this Was wondering tho, how can we get in the FE group. Looks very fun!

Welcome to our DisGroup ! You and your husband will love the ship. Let me know if you have specific questions and I'll try to answer them. This is our 14th Disney Cruise. We've gone with our kids & Grandkids and we've gone alone.Whats nice about cruising w/o kids is that you can enjoy the adult pool area. I recommend going early in am, especially on sea day to grab a lounger.

As far as the FE. It closed on June 2, but I'll add you to the list if you give me your cabin #. I can't speak for the rest of the group, but I have extras so will be happy to include you.
Go to page 8 and scroll down to post # 117 where you'll find the FE list if you want to participate.

Our group is meeting in the "D" Lounge at 3:30 just so we can say hi ! This is just before the lifeboat drill.

Absolutely NO rules. Just do whatever you like. Some give something to the "cabin" and something to the kids, some just give to the cabin. I will do both since we have a small group. You can get FE gift ideas from the Disboards. Also googling "FE gifts" or Pinterest. Just keep it a secret and pass out the gifts whatever day you want.
