Holy moly! That is CUTE!!!!

Thanks for posting it for me, Hope!!!

OK, I haven't popped in here on the creative boards, since, well, before it was the Creative Board. But I have been working on my recent WDW trip and have been using lots of old swap stuff. Then I found this thread so I'm here posting

Hey stranger!

Hey Shauna. Was wondering if any of my old friends still hung out here. A few names are still familar.

Not a layout, but swap items used. I amde the card with pieces made by momx3boys for the character swap.

Front of card, Daisy paper piece, ribbon and flowers. Interior, Daisy full body paper piecing. THanks for the great pieces momx3boys!

What a cute idea for card.

The above layouts are cute too. All those items are before my time though. :sad1:

Cute use for swap items, Susan. I would be thrilled to get that card!!!

These don't count, but I wanted to show what I did with some swap items. All the flowers (except the big blue one) are from the Prima Swap. My friend is a beader and I got her some beads for her birthday and wanted something cute to put them in. I saw these bags on the Tags, Bags, Boxes & More Cricut cartridge and gave it a try. I think they turned out quite cute!!!! My friend is a big Disney fan too so she'll especially love the Mickey one.

Those are fantastic! I have not yet tried those little purses -- what size did you use and what adhesive? Thanks!

Thank you!!! I think I cut them at 7 1/2 inches. It's the largest I could get it to cut with my 12x12 mat. Once assembled, they are about 3 1/4 inches tall. I just used my Zig glue pen to glue the sides together. The hardest part was figuring out what to use for the flap. I wanted my friend to be able to open and close it. DS came up with the idea to use velcro so I have a little piece of that under the flap and it works perfect.

Were they terribly time-consuming? They would be such a cute little party favor for DD. Even a gift card harder for bday presents.

No, actually they were pretty easy to make. Once you've done the first one and figured out where all the little fold places are, it goes quickly. The part that took the longest time for me was figuring out the ribbon to use and which flowers to put on them! They would be perfect for party favors or gift card holders.

Waaaahhhh! Once again, I can't see them! I don't think your posting site likes my computer since I can't view any of your pics. They sound cute!

Here you go Shauna. I opened a Photobucket account and put the picture there. Let's see if you can see it now.

Holy moly, those are cute!!! Those would be adorable party favors. Did you cut them on the baby bug or the expression?
