Let's use some of those swap items that we all have overflowing in our scrap areas!!!!!!!

The rules are the same as usual - any page 6x6 or larger, using at least two elements from a swap on these boards, count towards the prize draw for the honor of hosting the next round. Completed page swap pages count as one page each. You can post as many pages as you like, but a max of 15 credits per person will be allowed towards the draw. My pages don't count.

Pictures must be posted on here or e-mailed to me to qualify (PM me if you need my e-mail). Stuff from "pack-and-wrap" swaps (like primas, ribbons etc.) count but should not be the only swap element on the page.

The challenge runs from February 6 through March 6.

I can't wait to see your pages!!!!

Have fun!!

:thumbsup2 I'll be in. Maybe I'll scrap a bit more this month......

I'll be in I have stacks to work on this evening and all day tomorrow!!! ;) Yay!
Next Disney trip booked...so I must get 2008's disney trip completed!

I think I might join this one. :scared1:

I pulled out the scrap pieces I had for the gingerbread house at the GF. Laid them out, then went to look at the photos I had from the last time I was there for Christmas. And it works out perfectly. My only hangup was I used pieces from the last 2 swaps on one layout, but I have two sets of Gingerbread pics (2005, 2007). So I debated on saving one set for the other set of pics, but they look so nice together, and I decided there would always be more swaps.

I also learned, that tagging pics in Picasa 3.6 is a lot easier than when I was trying to tag them in a previous release. So since this week's organizational task is photo organization, I am going to work hard on tagging. Then when I'm laying out my layouts, I can at least do a quick check of how many photos per event I have, and how many "big" or "small" spaces I need. Even if I don't sit down and edit/crop/resize them right then.

I have pre-paid photo credits at Shutterfly, I need to use. So I should have everything in place to actually get some pages done.

Okay I was waiting for the next one to start so I could post. These are pages from the Disney completed ABC page swap.

This page was made by me

Not sure who this one was made by, so please let me know so I can give proper credit:

Another one made by me:

Made by Susan (123SA):

Made by me. However I took the "usa" off and used pictures from the zoo back in Knoxville, Tn. They had a dino exhibit. These pictures are only from 1999:scared1:

This one was made by BAMB ( shout out girl ...hope you are feeling better):

ZeroToHero made this one:

PBF made this one:

Another one by 123SA. I added the coaster with the gang on it. I have had it for awhile and this is the only RNR page I will have for many more years.

This one does not count because there is no swap items on it. This page is the letter from the NC Eye Bank. This was the first time I finally felt joy again after losing my ds13:littleangel: It stated that there was a person now who could see who could not before due to the eye donation from my son. It really made me feel good knowing that even though he is gone he gave such an incrediable gift to someone else. I am diffentely for organ donation after reading this letter.

Shawn, Ive said it before and I'll say it again, you are a true inspiration to all of us!
Nice work on the pages too. Im definitely playing this year and I think your hosting so if Im gone I'll need a buddy.

Oh Shawn,
I love all your pages but the last one is my favorite. That person
is so very lucky. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Awesome job Shawn! I especially love your last page. That is such a special page and has me in tears.

You must sign up for it. It was my first page swap and yes it took a lot of time and you did have to invest insome expenses, but I have just loved slapping a picture down and viola your done. Plus all the pages are great in there own unique style and it really jazzes up your books. I am sure they will be someone to be a buddy or I can (unless that is a no no since I am the hostess).

Thanks for the kind words AZ, PO3, and DIT. I really wanted to share that page. I guess because I am sooo proud for what he was able to do for someone else. I tear up too when I read it. It is my first page I have scrapped of his passing. I got the DCWV marisopa stack to scrap his memorial service in TN, because we released butterflies. It was sooo nice. One of the butterflies did not make it, so my cousins wife took it home and her dad framed it for me. He does that kinda of stuff.

It is something to hold on to, know Marcus still lives on in others. Not only has he touched your heart and lives in your memories, he is actively helping another person create memories they could not ever have if it wasn't for Marcus.

Oh, Shawn, that's just so amazing. What a gift you and Marcus were able to give to that family.

Shawn those are beautiful pages and that last one totally had me tearing up. What a wonderful thing to be able to do.

NemoMom...beautiful pages! I am so touched by that last page also. What an amazing AMAZING gift...really there are not enough words to express it.

Nemomom love ly pages, anmd special; thanks for sharing the last one - so touching, and so brave to take that decision at such such a difficult time.:littleangel:

Let me just say that unless they have the iteniary you want, I dont reccomend NCL. Part of the cruise experience is the food and their food was flavorless at the buffet, and they have surcharges on every other resturant.
