This week, two heavy hitters are put to the test: A beloved timeless tale against an instant immortal classic; two of the most popular Disney films ever made.

Wow. This is arguably your biggest match yet lol. popcorn::

Hard call for me to make. I love both films and both are really among the best Disney has to offer. :cloud9: Both stories are so beautifully told and have such a great impact on the viewer. I will think about this and get back to you went I make my choice. ;)

While I love both films a ton, this isn't a hard call for me. I choose Beauty and the Beast. It's really wonderful beyond words. 5 out of 5.

Cinerella is too, but I just hate how at the end of the film, the wicked stepmother gets nothing for being such a bad person. Cinderella just rides off into the sunset, and wicked old stepmother just keeps living the good ol' life in her mansion. I really wanted something bad to happen to her. (Sequels don't count. I'm speaking purely from the original classic) Anyway, either way, it's still not a bad film by any means. I'd still give it a 5 out of 5.

That's the best part of the Ever After movie - they get what's coming to them!

I hear you about the wicked stepmother not getting what she deserved. To me, even as I watched Cinderella stoll off into the sunset, there still felt like there was something lingering. As you said, I wish they would have at least had something bad happen to that evil woman. Oh well. That's what sequels are for I guess. But otherwise, the movie is excellent and really wraps together nicely.

Love them both but chose B&TB over Cinderella based on the music and the message. Cinderella says if you are good and work hard your prince will rescue you. B&TB Don't judge a book by it's cover. Which do we want our children to learn & live by.

The little clock character, Cogsworth, was great! He's so funny and loveable. Gus-gus from Cinderella was my favorite mouse. He's so cute and adorable, yet so stupid. Gotta love him.

I like the message that Cinderella gives about not letting things in your life turn you calus or sour. Just do your best and work your hardest and stay positive, and goods things will eventually happen. That's another great motto to live by.

EDIT:

YOUR WINNER IS BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (14 to 6)

Feel free to keep discussing and/or voting.

Not that it makes a huge difference, but I think Bell is the finest princess of them all. At the very least, she's Top 3.

By the way, didn't both of these stories take place in France?

My girl Belle all the way! The music from BatB, even the musical version, is just so much better, and I identify with Belle more.

Ooh, and the poster you choose is gorgeous in its simplicity!
