rough seas - ? for those who just got back

I have heard about the recent rough seas. My question is did you get sick or if you were taking Bomine where you not effected? Bottom line is -- I will be taking Bomine everyday religiously, now even with high seas is it a possibility to get seasick with the mediciane or you can't get seasick on the medicane?? Thanks

no seasick medication is fool proof. Dramamine & sea bands did the trick for DD. But if the seas had been worse (we were getting 20 foot swells) I can't say that they would've worked or not.

I too suggest the addition of the Sea-bands to the Bonine if you are that worried about it. They are about $8 bucks at any drug store. Good luck.

We had slightly rough seas 11/11 (I think Capt. Henry said 6-8') and in the middle of the night 11/13 (about 4 a.m.). Bonine worked fine.

I started taking Bonine the day before we boarded last 11/15 and was fine the entire cruise. We had 15-20 foot swells 3 days and over that 2 days. It was quite the trip & many people were ill.

Returning to Port Canaveral on 11/11 the seas were a bit rough, at least 8-16" swells. They warned us, I took the Meclizine, about half of the people weren't there for the 8:30PM seating at Animators Palate, but no one seemed sick from the motion. It was mostly and up and down pitching. Kind of slow and mesmerizing.

Back in my room, the walls creaked a bit and the doors rattled but I slept OK. I knew I was at sea, but the Bonine kept my stomach under control and helped my just enjoy the experience.

We just returned from 3 day cruise on Wonder. The weather was incredible. We did not have a moment of rough seas. I often wondered if we were even sailing. The temp was 80-90 day. and 60-70 nights. The night's were a little chilly on deck though.
