Rotwieller mix breed.... insurance will not cover us?

There is nothing wrong with Rotties!!!

well, other than the one who jumped my 6foot tall fence that enclosed my backyard and ripped the throat out of my dog and killed it instantly. I was very lucky that I didn't have a child back there I guess.

Insurance Companies play the statistics game. Those are high risks that they have identified.

I've seen German Shepards on the lists also.

I lost my house insurance when an insurance agent came to access
my property. He did the accessment while his 2 loose Shelties roamed on my property!! At the time(2 years ago) I had 2 adult dogs with several Obedience titles. They were so well socialized with people and other dogs(attending many dog shows),they didn' bark at the insurance agent or his loose dogs!
A week later,i received a letter stating my home insurance was terminated!
I now have to pay $300 extra because of my "vicious" dogs.

Me too!!! We had a claim and an agent came to our house to inspect the problem. I raised and showed German Shepherds. They are all obedience trained, several with obedience titles, all with Temperment test certificates, and all certified therapy dogs. Didn't matter. They paid the claim and told us we had 30 days (I think) to find new insurance.
