This is new! If you read the actual message it says you can only have ONE boarding group per day, doesn't it?
It was reported that at some point during the EMH time they were let in / held on Hollywood Blvd (which is the normal EMH setup) and yes, they were in before 7:19am when boarding groups became available. Exactly when they let non-EMH folks in to be held like that is unknown.
Yesterday 62 arrived around 4pm, arriving an hour later though, would have gotten you no boarding group. Today they were gone in 20 minutes and they have not been opening again. Is it just me that feels a tad gipped?
Up early to get to be around 5th row / group of people at the EMH rope drop around 5:30 am, told that there would be an announcement around 7:45 am that Boarding groups would start to be available, then around 7:23 am saw people ‘playing’ with their smart phones so DW looks at hers to see and we end up with Boarding Group sixty bleeping 2 ..... 62 ..... with an anticipated boarding time of ‘evening’?
Nah, don’t like the Virtual Boarding Group approach. Could have slept in an extra hour and gotten to the park an hour later to get the same boarding group.
Yes, off site guests were able to get into dhs, held st Hollywood Blvd before they opened vqOk, so off site people were able to scan before they opened for BG joining?
Either way, feel like Disney shouldn't have said anything about what time the BG joining would start if they weren't going to follow that
Could you do a day just at dhs? That way there's no issue with fpI'm going in March and I wasn't going to HS until the late afternoon and do Epcot in the morning. I"m hoping this settles a bit but looks like we will would have to travel to HS get a Boarding group and figure out our day from there which sucks for fastpass planning smh.
I’m just guessing, but probably most of the offsite people that were being held on Hollywood Blvd. got a boarding pass today. They were just waiting, so probably refreshing. It’s the people who arrived early that went on a ride, who might have missed out.Ok, so off site people were able to scan before they opened for BG joining?

I would have been furious! That’s why I was second guessing myself while riding SDD. If you wait for the announcement it sadly seems like it is too lateIs it just me that feels a tad gipped?

Thank you!!! Just scanned in and am in standby. Entered 8:20 with a call back time of 8:09Have a great time!!!
Looking like that's what I will have to do less flower and garden timeCould you do a day just at dhs? That way there's no issue with fp
Just curious why did you go to yc instead of heading straight to dhs? Awesome morning btwSo overall we got up and left All Star movies at 5:15. Got to YC parking at 5:30. For on a Friendship boat and arrived around 5:50. Through Security and held at ToT at about 5:57. Went on ToT and then RNR. Headed to TSL and did a Photo Pass pic in front of the sign. Entered line for TSM at 6:50 and off the ride at 7:10. Checked Boarding groups and they were live at 7:20. Got boarding group 2. Got In to see Minnie with no wait. Went to Star Tours but jumped out of the line when Boarding group was called at 7:30. Got off ride by 8. Exited into Toy Story Land. So hit 4 rides and 2 Photopass people in two hours. I would say a very successful day at HS. I hope everyone else has a great day also.
Thanks for taking the time to report! Have a great rest of the day!!So overall we got up and left All Star movies at 5:15. Got to YC parking at 5:30. For on a Friendship boat and arrived around 5:50. Looking like that's what I will have to do less flower and garden timeor we will have to be really flexible staying at BWI wanted to maximize being close to Epcot and Space potentially opening.
I don't think anything they are doing now will be the norm after things settle down. Definitely frustrating for those there now.Am I reading this right? No rise during early morning hours? So this the new thing block out the huge rides during early morning hours? This better not become the norm. That was the 1 and only left advantage of staying on site.
So do we know if u can join a boarding group during the early morning hour or so u have to wait till the normal hours? Cause if u do they better announce it and keep the time at a sharp park opening time. Not some random time that guests don’t know like they do opening the parks anymore cause of crowds cause that’s just not fAir.
If they want to level the field for park guests then level it with an announcement and an exact time cause I really don’t want to log on at park opening to get a group and find out they r gone cause they opened it 13 mins or 11.5 mins early.
the not knowing what time parks open to get there for hard attractions last trip was pretty frustrating.
