Rosen Inn(s) Near Universal?

Has anyone stayed at either of the Rosen Inns on International Dr near Universal? The one closest to Universal at 6327 I Drive used to be a Rodeway Inn I think and the Rosen Inn @ Pointe Orlando was a Quality Inn Plaza.

Found great rates at both...we're just looking for a decent (clean, safe) hotel for one night near Universal.

If you're talking about the Rosen Plaza, Rose Centre, and Rosen Shingle Creek, then yes, we have stayed at all and they are good hotels. Shingle Creek being one of the better hotels in all of Orlando. Rosen Plaza is the least expensive and I actually prefer it to Rosen Centre. Either way you can't go wrong, just remember to make a RIGHT out of the parking lots onto I-Drive and take 528 West to I-4. It is much faster than going down I-Drive.

Since we're trying to keep costs down this trip, I narrowed it down to Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando (the old Quality Inn Plaza, I think) and what they call the Rosen Inn "closest to Universal" at 6327 I Drive. I was just a little concerned about picking one of the "lower end" ones, but all the Rosen hotels seem to get good reviews overall.
