Rose & Crown VS the Kiosk

Haven't made the ADR's yet (still have 26 days) BUT, we were thinking of trying Rose & Crown at Epcot this time. I know my DH, me and DS13 would probably get the steak/fish dish. My DS12, well he's a very picky eater and have no idea on what he would get.

Anyways, our friends just got back from WDW and they said they tried the fish that is sold at the Kiosk stand in the UK pavillion. They said they didn't care for it though, said it was too greasy. Is this the same fish that is sold at Rose & Crown too?

If you've been to R&C, how did you like the steak/fish dish?

It's the same fish. We've found that it's sometimes greasier than other times. But it was still delicious! (and cheaper than inside)

We also had the fish from the kiosk a couple weeks ago. I thought it was very greasy as well and even commented on it to DH. He really liked it though, so did my sisters husband.

It was good, just really greasy. I had to wipe the grease from my hands with every bite, lol.

I prefered the one at the Kiosk- yes it's greasy- but I just used a napkin to blot and I thought it was delicious and CRISP! The one inside was all mush. We had a horrible meal there but I think it was really an off night. Our service was the worst we've had at Disney.
