Rose & Crown or Coral Reef?

Do you think we have a chance to see Illuminations from Rose and Crown? Going with 4kids and 2 adults...thanks

Reservations at R&C can be difficult to come by because so many people want to watch Illuminations from there. Obviously people do get them though so go ahead and call.

I have reservations for both for August, but I am going to pick one. food wise which is better? Is there a viewing area to see Illuminations even if u do not get a viewing table?

I adore the R & C. They just had a wonderful new menu change, and still serve Bangers and Mash - my favorite dish on Disney property. For atmosphere, you can't really beat Coral Reef. Unless, of course you score the elusive patio seat for Illuminations.

Remember, as well, even if you get an ADR at the Rose, and it's for the right time, they may not seat on the patio. Kind of a dice roll.

Food wise, R&C is much better. You may want to read the dining reviews here when trying to decide.
