We had planned to have early reservations at the Rose and Crown and stay for the fireworks. Our party has grown to 14. Will it be difficult to get seated on the patio with a group that large? If so, whats the chance of arriving early at the counter service Mexican restaurant and getting tables? We don't mind squeezing!
This will be the week of June13, probably Monday night.
Thanks for your help!

When we were there in December there were some fairly large parties sitting on the railing. I don't think the problem is going to be whether they can fit you, the problem will be whether there is going to be space available. The CM's at the Rose and Crown always do their best to accommodate your request but sometimes they just aren't able to. Get there about 20 minutes early, check in, and be very cordial about your request. Sometimes the magic works in fantastic ways. Good luck!

Getting the tables at Mexico is you will have to stake them out by 7:00 at the latest. So that means you are giving up 2 1/2 hours of touring and sitting in some rather hard chairs for a long time.Plus I've seen more rude and harsh words between guest's over these tables than I have any other place in WDW.I have seen two fist fights and to many to count cussing outs of folks and verbal assults you would not believe for these tables. These tables do offer a great view of Illuminations but be forwarned it may be stressful for you to get and hold those tables. All this said I and DW have been several times when everything was fine,no stress no cussing and no fights I just want to warn you what you may encounter. :wave2:

If someone yelled at me I think I'd either be so mad I'd yell back or cry. Neither would be what I want on vacation or in front of our children so don't think I'll even try that.
We'd planned to be seated around 7:15 at R&C, so hopefully they'll be able to fit us in. Dana49, should I be there 20 minutes before that?
I enjoy these people so sitting, eating and talking for 2 hours will be a pleasure.
Do you think 7 :15 will be early enough?
Thanks for your help :teeth:

If your PS is at 7:15 P.M., I would arrive at around 7:00 P.M. This should give them some time to arrange things for you. They know exactly why you're there. Have a drink and an appetizer, along with your meal, and no one should be asking you to leave early. Have a great time! :)
