Do you need ressies just to go into the Pub at Rose and Crown?

No, you don't. One of our favorite stops on our many trips around the WS. It is often hard to find an open table or spot at the bar though. But you can stand at the bar and order your drink and then find a place to just stand around. And then snatch up a table when one opens up. We also love the fruit and cheese platter to go with the beer! Enjoy.

No I don't think you can, unless you go outside to their outdoor dining area which is roped off. But then those tables are only for people who are eating there, not just little tables to sit and drink at. So I think the answer is no. I imagine they don't want their glassware walking off and so have you.

If you want a beer to go, last time I was there they had a beer vendor cart outside the pub (opposite side of the front door from the fish and chips) where you could get a drink to carry around.

And yes, getting a table there can be a competitive event.

I would try to get an ADR for Rose and Crown, even when we have one we still have quite a wait.
