rose and crown outdoor seating

I booked a 7:30 adr at rose and crown in the hopes of getting an outdoor table to view illuminations. I certainly understand that this is not guarenteed but how likely am I to get one?? how big is the outdoor area?? (I've only ever eaten inside there and don't remember seeing the patio. thanks!

I have eaten there 5 times in the last 4 years and always had a seat outside but it's really just luck of the draw. If I can't sit outside, I skip it and eat elsewhere because IMO, the food isn't that good. But it's actually never come up.

I think many people don't want to eat outside for whatever reason. I have family members who will not dine outside...it's always either too hot, or too windy or god forbid they see a bug...

Figure have about about a 30% chance of getting a table with a good view of the show.

I don't know how likely you are to get an outside table but I can tell you that we had dinner there a few years ago around the same time as your ressies. Our table was inside but we were able to go out to the back patio for Illuminations and then come back to our table for dessert. If they can't give you an outside table, just ask your server if it would be possible to do what we did. I think as long as you are nice about it, they will try to accomodate you.
