Which of these would you choose and why? I'm taking into consideration that I am taking an 11 yo and 1 yo. Also, someone mentioned small portions from Coral Reef and well, we're big eaters. Hmm..help me decide!

Portions are pretty much small at all TS restaurants, but you can find some that offer bigger portions then others. Personally for me I would choose Coral Reef, there's more variety there to me. If you didn't want to eat seafood there's steak, chicken, pork, and even a vegetarian dish which i believe is a mushroom lasagna. i think your 11 year old would also enjoy watching the fish swim around the aquarium as well.

The Rose and Crown is great for a pint or two, but food from the UK sucks.

I would have to say CR. The food was good and the aquarium with the divers was very cool.

We have eaten at both every year since 06 and personally we have had really good food at both - we always get the steak and fish and chips at Rose and Crown and some sort of steak at Coral reef. The kids love the tank at Coral Reef. If you are not on the dining plan the Rose and Crown is a little cheaper. We have always gone during free dinning so does not really matter to us.
