Rose and Crown HELP

Ok I know I am a picky eater....But when we decided on Rose and crown I thought MMMM Sheppards pie or the beef stew they had.... Well neither is on the menu any more. Well Dh and DS are all excited about eating here so I can't change it. I see on Dis menu they have a pot roast... but it is not on All ears menu...both say they have been updated resently. Anyone been there lately??? Was there a pot roast on the menu??? Or will they let me order the sheppards pie on the childrens menu??? Or make me an adult portion?? That is what I really wanted to eat. TIA

You can always ask. And you can stop by the restaurant beforehand and see the current menu. That's the danger of replying on the internet menus. Things change all the time.

How old is your son? Can he order the kids shepards pie and you order a meal he will eat? Or, is there an appetizer you want as your meal? Can you share off their plates? Try something different but in a small portion. I'm sure you wil be able to work with your server to get you something you like.

And if you don't really eat all that much, there are plenty of counter service places to get a snack later!

I know!!LMAO but I am pickey and DS age 5 is picky also (him more then me) So I try to pick places where he will eat something. My DS who wants to eat there is 16 and it may be dangerous to take food off his plate!!! I have a 5 yr old who does not eat much and a 3 yr old who would eat the whole meal LOL I could always get soup and a salad if worst comes to worst... but I really LOVE sheppards pie.

I, too, am disappointed to see them go to such a limited menu. Hopefully they quickly add some more choices back on...
