Rose and Crown has this changed?

Someone posted on anouther thread that Rose and Crown will not let you wait for a table outside. We have waited before. Has this changed?

Yes. Twice in the last year we have requested to wait for a patio table and both times were told that you must take the first available table for your party size. They let you know in no uncertain terms that if you are not agreeable, that you are welcome to dine elsewhere.

That makes sense to me. I don't like it, but I definitely see the logic in it.
