I am making my ADR's tomorrow and we're going to have dinner at The Rose and Crown. Has anyone coordinated their meal with illuminations? Can you see them from the restaurant? If so, what time was your ADR for?

Thanks!

1) You can see them very well form the patio seating.
2) You cannot see them from the inside seating.
3) Getting a patio seat is like winning the lottery - it is a coveted seat.
4) You can no longer wait for a patio seat.
5) When your name is called, you MUST take the offered seat - inside or out.
6) If you refuse, you are passed over and your ressie canceled.
7) If you sit inside, you CAN go to a patio standing spot and watch the show.

NOTE: They have had too many people wanting to see Illuminations from the patio. When their name is called, they refuse an inside seat. This has made a lot of open seats inside, and open seats mean missed revenue. Thus, you take what is offered - they even ask you this question when you get to he podium.

We viewed Illuminations last Novemberfrom the Rose & Crown. We had an outside table right by the water- but were told we had to take the first available when we checked in. Just got lucky. Our ADR was for 7:20, and Illuminations was at 9. Our server asked if we wanted to see Illuminations and told us she could stretch out the meal that long with no problemat all. It was a wonderful meal and a fabulous show- even though the two little ones slept through most of it:lmao:

We've done the R&C/Illuminations thing twice, and had 7:30 ADR's both times. Both times, we were seated inside and went outside to watch the show. This worked out great for us, as it was much cooler inside (more conducive to eating a big meal) and we got to choose where we wanted to stand outside (some patio tables have a better view than others). HTH!

We had a 7:30 ADR and were seated inside at 7:50. Our waitress told us we could go outside to the covered patio about 5 min. before the show. She even brought out our dessert. It was very hot outside and it started to rain about 1/2 hour into our meal, so we preferred eating inside.

Thank you so much guys! We are going for the meal not the show anyway, it's nice to know we can walk out to the patio if we sit inside!

I can't wait!
