We have 7:45pm. I assume we will be seated in a decent amount of time, or will we have to wait because people will be trying to hold a table for illuminations?

Also, A patio seat would be nice, but I wont ask for one. Can you still see / hear the show from inside the pub?

we've had 7:45 before and have been just fine for fireworks. The amount of time you wait will depend on the crowd and such, but they are really good about it there and we've never waited more than about 10 minutes. You most certainly can request a patio seat and definitely should! Also mention any celebrations you have as that can help to get a patio seat. We had a birthday and when mentioned were told they would be sure to find us a patio seat. Best of luck!

We've done 7:30 - 7:45 at Rose & Crown and it was great.
Ask for a patio seat when you check in, knowing you may or may not get it. You can no longer wait for a patio table, but they will note your request.
There is a "private" patio that is available for Illuminations viewing if you are seated inside. It is a good view of Illuminations. Your server will help. They are very understanding of folks who wish to see Illuminations between dinner and dessert.
Have Fun
