Since a lot of the seating is outside, how do they handle the ARDs when it rains? I'm sure they book for using outside and inside tables. Do people just not get in?
Rose and Crown have wind blinds that they roll down when it starts to rain. It keeps the rain out so you can still sit outside, just not on the lower deck area.
They'll even put you outside when it's windy and freezing cold! (Record lows in January 2010) Okay, so they had the vinyl shades pulled and a few heat-lamps on the upper patio, but it was still cold even with our coats on! Not a real fun dining experience. We should have cancelled, but we were a group of seven, and didn't know where else to go, so we just dealt with it. Oh well, it's a funny memory now...

On the opposite end of the weather spectrum...we went when it was HOT, HOT and raining. They put those "wind blinds" down and sat us outside...it was like we were *steaming* out there...humid, wet, and no air...ugh...did NOt make for a pleasant dining experience.
