Rope dropping Na'vi River?

how is the pace of the crowd

When we rope dropped FoP in October, we walked at a slower pace than others. Some ran (though generally discouraged), others race-walked. For the most part, it moved in a pretty orderly way. Some don't realize they will stop you at the bridge to Pandora and do a "second" rope drop. I would say about 100-150 people got ahead of us (2 adults, 2 teen/tween). From the bridge to Pandora to the rest of the way the crowd moves at about the same pace. When you branch off for Na'vi you will definitely be in the minority as probably 85-90% or more go to FoP.

If we rope drop Na'vi, how is the pace of the crowd going towards Pandora? We will have DW's parents with her and they don't move as fast as others.

The reports are that you can be at the back of the RD pack and have no wait for Navi. You can let the FoP clump go ahead to the right, you stay back to the left and you still get a couple rides before waits build.
