What time are the rope drops in the MK?

Are those times regardless if its an EMH? (For example, if it's an EMH does Toontown still open at 10am when the official opening time is 9am - EMH 8am?)

OK, I KNOW this one!
(as well as anyone CAN "know" what Disney does or will continue to do...) :goodvibes

MK "Rope Drop Ceremony" starts about 10 minutes before the SCHEDULED opening time.
It takes place up on the RR platform and all guests are "held" JUST inside the ticket gates and before you enter the tunnels under the RR tracks.

If it is an EMH day, the "Rope Drop Ceremony" will be given ONLY for the EMH crowd and NOT again at "regular" opening time.

We always arrive at least 30 minutes before opening time (EMH or regular) so we are among those who are let inside the gates, waiting earlier in the "mob".

As for Toontown Fair... Yes, it opens at 10am every day, EMH or regular.
(Except possibly on days when "regular" opening time for MK is at 8am, then TF MIGHT open at 9am).

I gurantee the above info to be accurate or double your money back.*
(Until Disney makes a change, which is any time they want.)

*Double the amount you paid me to give you the info. ;)

Thanks Robo, but what about the rope drop times for the other lands? In particular, Adventureland and Tomorrowland...

Thanks!

Thanks!

There is only ONE formal rope drop now, and its at the RR station.

Everything (except Toontown and Tom Sawyer Island) opens all at once following that ceremony.

EXCEPTION:
If its EMH, there is no "formal" rope drop "ceremony" at the regular park opening time... the CM's just drop the ropes and allow you into the rest of the park (AM EMH is only Fantasyland and Tomorrowland) when the clock reaches the right time.

Occasionally... Jungle Cruise (maybe Tiki Room or a couple of others) MIGHT open a bit later, but certainly not every day.

:thumbsup2 Thanks Robo!! That would explain why I read lots about the "rope drop" for Toontown and that Tom Sawyer doesn't open until 10am...I wrongly assumed that there might be other lands "roped off" first thing in the morning. Thanks for being the brilliant one who clarified this for me!
