Rope drop/park close

I’m really hoping to head to Disney around New Years. I’ll know for sure in the next few days (anxiously looking at the park pass availability for New Years with HS being available). I’m wondering what rides to do at rope drop and park close (if the line is long at park close, that’s fine since it’s not taking away park time). This is what I’m thinking, but please tell me if I should do something else (I’m very good at being in the front of crowds at RD):
MK (4 days): Splash (since it’s closing), maybe 7DMT (only need to do it once or twice)
Epcot (1 day): TT or FEA (I want to do FEA once and TT many times)
HS (3 days): mix of MMRR, SDD, and TOT
AK (2 days): Always FOP...

I would leave Splash until late in the day, partly because it is sometimes closed at RD but also because the weather is chilly/wet in January you don’t want to be cold and damp all day. I like Haunted Mansion at nighttime.
Similarly, I think Tower of Terror in HS takes on a completely different feel at night. Are you skipping all the Star Wars land rides?

Actually, I definitely do want to be cold and damp all day 😂. I want to do Splash many times with it closing soon. I’m not skipping the SWGE rides, but ROTR is a separate thing and it seems to me that MFSR isn’t so hard to do in the middle of the day (and I like other thrill rides better and want to repeat them more). Good point about TOT.

I think you have a pretty solid game plan. Last weekend they were opening the gates 45 minutes prior to park opening. While not all the attractions are guaranteed to be open then, we had great luck. At MK we were able to do 7DMT, Peter Pan and Big Thunder before the park officially opened. At HS, we did all of Toy Story Land (including SDD twice) before listed park open.

I recommend doing MMRR at the end of the night because the extended queue has almost no shade and it can feel like the surface of the sun.
