rope drop and a moderate

We plan on being at WDW during peak times.
I assume that going to rope drop can be done from the moderate resorts with the crowds. But, I wondered if there is a specific moderate that would be closer to MK? or Epcot? I can see the location on the map, but I didn't know about the bus route/# of stops/etc.

During peak seasons I have had great luck with the busing at POFQ. I've stayed there over Spring Break and over the 4th of July, and had fantastic bus service both times. POFQ only has one stop, and during peak season they don't share a bus with POR. So you get on and are on your way!
